Summertime has come and gone...

Howdy pals,

You haven't heard much from me lately but things have been quietly happening behind the scenes as we prepare for our big show.  I've been writing a bunch of new material and am recording all sorts...stoked to show you all.

My full rock band is Treasurefruit, has been on hiatus since our Spring residency, but we shall return with all sorts of flavor for the Dia De Los Kongos fest at the Crescent Ballroom, October 29th.

It will be the anniversary of the release of "Poisonous Dwellers of the Desert" and we have pulled out all the stops for this one.  Can't wait for you to see this very special show.

Get your tickets here:

After that I'll see you at the 5th Annual Sidepony Express Music Festival in Bisbee, November 11-13th where I'll be showcasing a bunch of my new material.  Saddle up, lil' dogies!

In the meantime, if you're in L.A. head on over to Amoeba Music in Hollywood and grab a copy of the Treasurefruit album from the hot pink display of desert rock!

Here'a a free download of our current featured track, a deep cut that is best enjoyed this time of year with some cider.

"This Point In Time"

Remember, we are on iTunes, Spotify and Apple Music now, and you can also get CD's from Stinkweeds Records in Phoenix.

Looking forward to seeing you out there...

  • What are you doing here?
    What are you doing here?
  • This guy right here. Met him about 7.5 years ago when putting on one of my first shows, and he is still one of the most passionate, honest and hard working people I've ever worked with, a kindred spirit who sees the big picture and is in it for the long haul. A walking contradiction, @beefvegan has been on the front line of the Phoenix music scene this entire time, championing the underdogs of mid-week late night rock clubs on his early morning FM show...showcasing local talent amidst the hottest new hipster hits. His direct approach and often unsolicited advice to the talent has helped foster a sense of professionalism and ambition in the community, as well as a can-do attitude. I personally love the fact that he's helped bring back a genuine appreciation of the magic of radio, and done so by offering quality programming with zero corporatism. So now he is headed to Tucson to continue his mission, and while it's going to be a huge loss for the listeners, it is actually one of the best things to happen to our Phoenix music scene ever. To be able to push this wave of momentum out a little further and connect with our Southern AZ brothers and sisters is going to be a game changer. As someone who's been working on my own agenda to help bridge the county gap and connect musicians from all over AZ, I am elated. Thanks for the assist, Brad. You are a star and congratulations on the upward move to KFMA. You deserve it and your impact here is evident. The next phase is going to be epic. xoxo
